Free AI vectorizer for simple artwork, expert hand-tracing for high-stakes designs
VectorGurus opens with a clean split of its offer: vectorize simple artwork for free with the AI vectorizer, or hand the complex, high-stakes designs to experts who trace them by hand. That honesty about where AI stops is rarer than it should be in this category, where every tool claims universal conversion and delivers smudged gradients and broken curves on anything harder than a flat logo.
The page sells the difference with a Before After section, and the free AI vectorizer sits right in the navigation next to Get Pro Service, so the upgrade path is one click from the free tool rather than hidden behind a sales wall. A contact address, timothy@vectorgurus.com, is public, which fits a service with a human name attached to the expert work.
The toolify listing adds the delivery specifics: JPG, PNG, scans, logos, and sketches converted to scalable print-ready SVG, AI, EPS, and PDF, with the professional tier handled in Adobe Illustrator by actual designers. For brand work where a slightly wrong anchor point is a reprint, that human tier is the product, and the AI tier is the funnel that proves the need.
Who is this for? Print shops, embroiderers, sign makers, and brand owners who need production vectors and have been burned by fully automated converters. The test costs nothing: run one simple logo through the free vectorizer to see the baseline, then price the hand-traced tier against what your current designer charges.
