A Mac sidekick for everything you are not ready to deal with yet
SOBA is a small macOS utility that solves a specific annoyance: you find something, you are not ready to deal with it, and it gets lost. Drag a file or link to the edge of your screen and the SOBA panel slides out. Drop items into Workspaces to keep a project together, stick things in Later for another day, pin what matters right now, and share from the same place. The whole app is native, local-first, and needs no account, which I appreciate in a tool this personal. The makers describe it as the temporary place between finding something and acting on it, and that framing matches how I actually work, with a dozen half-open tabs standing in for a plan. If your desktop is a graveyard of screenshots and loose notes, this gives them somewhere to wait without effort. Mac only, and the edge gesture takes about a day to feel natural.
