The IELTS preparation market is large and willing to pay. Millions of people take the exam annually, and writing is consistently rated the hardest section to self-study because you cannot easily evaluate your own essay. A tool that provides band score estimates with specific feedback on grammar, coherence, and task response addresses a real pain point.

The key challenge is accuracy. IELTS examiners follow a detailed rubric, and AI-based scoring needs to approximate that rubric closely or users will lose trust after one or two inaccurate assessments. The tool should explain its scoring rationale, not just output a number.

When the site is accessible, test it with a real IELTS Task 2 essay and compare the feedback with what a qualified IELTS tutor would say. That comparison is the only meaningful evaluation.
