DingTou App

DingTou App is a dollar-cost-averaging (DCA) calculator for US stocks and ETFs. You enter a ticker, set a schedule and amount, and the tool pulls historical prices and shows you how that strategy would have performed.

What it calculates

• DCA returns over a date range you choose, using actual historical prices.
• Compound growth, so you can see the effect of reinvesting.
• Side-by-side comparison of multiple DCA strategies on the same chart, which is the actual useful part. Reading "strategy A returned 8.2%" is less informative than seeing A against B against C on one curve.

How you use it

Type a ticker, pick a date range, set the contribution amount and frequency. The tool does the rest. No account, no export limits on the free tier.

Caveats

Backtests describe the past, not the future. A strategy that beat the market from 2015 to 2021 tells you nothing about 2026. Treat the curves as a way to understand how a strategy behaves, not as a prediction.
