Decato's differentiation is spelled out on its homepage and it's a good one: most interior design AI stops at the render — the room looks great, but you still have to figure out what brand that sofa is, whether it's in stock, and if it fits through the door. Decato starts from the floor plan instead: the room is defined by actual wall lengths and door swings before any image is generated, furniture is matched to real in-stock products, and anything that would block the walkways is excluded before you see the result. You end up with renders plus an orderable list from IKEA and Wayfair.

That's the missing half of the workflow, and doing it as a Mac app ($7-15 tiers) is a reasonable home for it.

Who it's for: homeowners and renters planning real furnishing purchases, not just mood boards — and interior designers who want a fast layout-to-shopping-list pass for client discussions.
